SHORT PRESENTATION OF TRAINERS
ANNA WALTHER lives and works Copenhagen. She have done her fine art studies both in Sweden and Denmark. Her art is often rooted in her activistic interest, and through her work with urban and abandoned places, she explores media such as painting, drawing, documentation, performance, interventions and sculptures. By using awareness about body in space to sculpt perception, Walther raises questions criticality to her given surroundings. Her practice become a tool for understanding, to get closer to what makes us feel present and reflect upon daily life and its abstractions. What starts out as vision soon becomes manipulated into a tragedy of distress, leaving only a sense of dread and the prospect of a new order.
PETRA HULTMAN is a Stockholm based artist who is exploring different forms of participation and creative procedures as well as structures for collective and collaborative practices by using both new and traditional techniques. Her work is usually process oriented and as a mixed media artist she has a varied practice including animation, installation, video, performance, sculpture and text based works. Petra interacts with society through collaboration, disruption, involvement, art, dialogue, provocation, activism and workshops. Fields of interest are: human relations and group-dynamics, structures in general and in particular those concerning gender, construction of memories, identity and society through documentation and archives.
